Yesterday I went to the Creative Crafts Show in Manchester and bought some new dies which I just had to try out on thid card. The flower was created using a die set from Kreaxions in the netherlands and I spotted it on one of the displays at the show and just love the look of it when inked at the edges.

The sketch for this is over at waltzingmouse sketch challenge.blogspot. and the colours are taken from the challenge over at just-add-ink.blogspot.

The sentiment was stamped using WMStamps - Pic-nic Patterns and Compact Family.

MEMORY LIVES FOREVER

Hello again and thanks for dropping by. There is a lovely sketch challenge over at just-add-ink.blogspot. and used this for today's card.

The bottom of the card was created using Spellbinders Edgeabilities along with some bakers twine and ribbon. The flower is cut from some fun foam (I do love fun foam)and finished off with a little glitter.

The sentiment is from Fiskars "Good Times Quotes" and then cut using Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles.

I have now got to go and give my craft room a good clearout as I have been putting it off for far too long so hope to see you all again very soon.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU

Good morning friends and no I have not lost the plot by wishing you a Merry Christmas although saying that my local card shop has ,would you believe it, their Christmas cards in stock now. For us card makers this is the time for us to get making our cards in time for the festive season and today's card is making the most of the beautiful Spellbinder die "2012 Christmas Tree" which I cut out of some bright green fun foam and then added some bling.

For the sentiment I used Waltzingmouse stamp set "Very Vintage Christmas"stamped in black and again added some more bling.

The colours were influenced by the challenge over at the playdate cafe.blogspot. where I shall be entering this card.

Postman has just delivered some new dies that I had ordered last week so off now to try them out so enjoy the rest of your day and hope you drop by again soon.

SWEET BIRTHDAY WISHES

Although the weather may be dull outside I decided I needed a cheery and colouful card for today's project. The layout was inspired by the sketch challenge over at waltzingmouse sketch challenge and also gave me a chance to use my Clear Micro Glass Beads over the stamped background. These beads give a lovely effect and are easy to apply using double sided sticky film to fix them firmly in place.

The stamps used for the background were WMS Pic-nic Patterns and Faux Fun Circles and the sentiment using Compact Sentiments.

The flowers were cut from fun foam using Crealies Creative Flowers CL CF 17

Spellbinders dies Classic Rectangles Large and Grommet Tags shaped the sentiment tag area.

Take care friends and enjoy the rest of your day

LOVE

Back again with my second post of the day and this card was created using the sketch over at waltzingmouse sketch challenge.blogspot.co.uk and the colours from the shabby tearoom.blogspot.co.uk/.

This was a pretty quick card to put together using just pale colours to create a romantic theme which could be for a wedding, engagement or an anniversary.

For this project I used WMS - Say it Loud, Spellbinders - Classic Ovals Large, Lattice Motifs and Lace Doily Accents, art glitter, flat backed pearls and lace.

Hope the sun is still out tomorrow as I have a lot of gardening to catch up with. Take care and thanks for dropping by.

FLUTTERING BY THE BLOSSOM

Can't believe it but the sun has shone today although to tell you the truth I have been too busy watching  the Olympics and seeing us collect more gold medals but it is all very draining screaming at shouting at the tv constantly. The emotion that we share with these athletes and some of their stories on how they got to their moment on the podium I tell you the tissues have been on hand a lot these past few days.

 **********GO TEAM GB**********

Better get on with today's post and something a bit different for me not a card but a picture.

Here I have used my new Spellbinder dies "Cherry Blossoms" along with "Grand Squares".The image is from Papermania Urban Stamps "Beautiful - Entomologist" and stamped using Archival Brilliance "Twilight".The frame as always is a charity shop purchase and was in excellent condition so no need to enhance it any further.

The colours were inspired by this  week's challenge over at The Shabby Tearoom with shades of pinks and lilacs.
I will also be entering this over at hope-chances.blogspot.co.uk August Inspiration Day run by Christine Emberson so do go and check it out.

That's all for  now so take care and thanks for dropping by.

WMSC 108 - WITH LOVE

Hello again and the second post of the day as the rest of my week is a bit hectic and did not want to
miss entering this week's challenge over at waltzing mouse sketch challenge 108.

The papers I found  in my scrap box and dictated the colours I wanted to use for the rest of the card.

Sometimes you create something and you are not entirely happy with the result but I have to say I am pleased how this card turned out and have designed it so that at a later  date I can add a number at the top for a special birthday.

Here is a list of items used:
Spellbinders - M Bossabilities EL001 - Fancy Framed Tags Two - Asian Accents and Motifs - Standard Tag
Memento - Rhubarb Stalk
Color Box - Coral
WMS - Compact Sentiments - Pic nic Patterns - Fancy Phrases

That is all for today but take care as always.
