JUST FOR YOU

Going out with my daughter today so before I do a quick card to post wich I actually did late last night but had to wait until this morning to get a good picture in the daylight.

The colours I used were inspired by the challenge over at colourQ.blogspot.co.uk/ and even though there were three shades of blue the green made me think of leaves of sort so tried to work the others colours around flowers.

cardstock - Papermania Capsule textured
Spellbinders M-Bossabilities EL-005
Waltzingmouse stamp set - Vintage Labels 4
Cheery Lynn die - Exotic Butterflies Small 2
Marianne Design dies - LR0133 - LRO128

Off  to meet my daughter and maybe fit in some shopping as well so take care.

WELCOME WITH LOTS OF FLOWERS

This morning I spent doing some hedge trimming in the garden will the sun was shining as the weather forecast said it would be rain by this afternoon and sure enough my cue to go back to my craft room and relax.

Over at polka doodle challenge week 23 is Lots Of Flowers which is not very hard for me as I love using flowers as embellishments and the more the better. Have just bought their new CD "Picknix" collection one and it has some fabulous images on it including this adorable bird house which I just had to use for this challenge.

Coloured the image in using my Promarkers and mounted it onto some blue card. I gave myself a bit of a challenge to stick to 3 colours for this card so as not to get carried away with colour as this image has so many details and even though I say so myself I think it works quite well for this picture.

Do enjoy the rest of your day and remember only 1 more day till the weekend.

Take Care

THANK YOU KINDLY

Here again with another sketch challenge over at waltzingmouse sketch challenge and I have decided to go with a Thank You card in pinks and blues.

Time to try out some new stamps which arrived in the post the other day and they are WM Stamp sets " Pic Nic Patterns and " and "Fancy Phrases" which were used for the sentiment and the pattern on the blue card. The background paper is Kaisercraft "Sweet Nothings" which was also used for the large flower using Spellbinders "Anemone Flower Topper" and the smaller flowers in pink craft foam using "Bitty Blossoms"

The tiny butterflies are the leftovers from Spellbinders "Butterfly Circles" and to finish off the card some bling swirls from Zva Creative, a blue flower button and Hobbycraft Ink Pads in "Metallic Blue" and "Light Blue".

Back tomorrow with another project so hope you will join me again.

TAKE CARE ON YOUR TRAVELS

Yet another day of wind and rain so no chance of getting out to the garden today so oh no will just have to do some crafting. Over at Waltzingmouse Stamps they are celebrating their 100th Sketch Challenge so congratulations and here is to the next 100 challenges.

I have gone out of my comfort zone with the colours and theme that I have used for this card but I am quite pleased  with the result and may even try something along similar lines for a Father's Day card so I will let you know how that goes.

The papers are Papermania's "Portobello Road" which I have been using a lot lately and the inks used are Distress Ink "Faded Jeans" and Memento "Rich Cocoa".Waltzingmouse stamps "Very Vintage Labels Twenty Five", "Make Your Mark" and "Say it Loud".The Spellbinders dies are "Standard Tag", "Labels Twenty Five" and "Hardware Buckles".

Well I shall carry on with some more crafting which will be a card for a wedding that we have been invited to in August but it may take me that long to get it just right.
