STAMPING WITH A DIFFERENCE

Hello and today a card stamped without a stamp and yes you did hear right as this is the challenge over at the friday mashup. At first I thought a crazy idea but now that I have tried it I will be using my stamp  blocks a lot more for blocking colour.

Using just one size of block I then picked a multi coloured ink pad for more effect and then placing them on the card in different directions.
Each square was cut using Spellbinders Classic Squares Small and then went round each edge with a Silver Marker pen. The lettering is Spellbinders Donna's Alphas which I cut from some fun foam which I love using and die cuts beautifully.

Very pleased with the result and thanks to the Friday Mashup I now have a whole set of new stanps to try out.
Thanks for stopping by and take care until the next time

A SUMMER COLOUR COMBO

Making up for lost crafting time so here is another card and this one is influenced by the colour combo over at color throw down 255 and a bit of a retro design.

For the pattern background I used That Special Touch Mask - Funky and coloured in with Promarkers. The flowers were cut from fum foam using Marianne Creatables die English Rose LR0 162.

The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse stamp set Fancy Phrases.

I really enjoyed using this colour combo and as always love seeing what other designs people come up with. Until the next time enjoy the rest of your  day.

The background was created using JustRite clear stamps "Doilies and Lace" which is a great buy as there are approx. 28 stamps in this set both small and large.

TIDDLY INKS DESIGN TEAM CALL

Just what I have been waiting for a Design Team Call over at tiddly inks as I am a big fan of their cute and quirky digital images.

The card I have created is using one of my favourite Christmas images "Inky Critters"and decided to keep it simple by using just two colours of Promarkers, To the side of the card I stamped sentiments using Waltzing Mouse stamp set " Very Vintage Christmas"again using the two colours along with black for the greeting.

To add some dimension to the card snowflakes were added which are Spellbinders "Create-a-Flake Five" and then Iridescent Glitter on these as well as around the edge of the images to give a lovely snowy effect.

If you get the chance to pop over and checkout some more fun images digital as well as clear stamps.
Thanks for visiting and take care.

CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY

Hello and what an amazing start to the weekend where the weather is glorious and Andy Murray is in the final at Wimbledon tomorrow so fingers crossed and good luck Andy.

Now onto our challenge this week over at one stop craft challenge and a nice easy one as "Anything Goes". I decided for this one that I would go with a Christmas card so that I could use a new set of Spellbinder dies that are only available on Create and Craft until next week and these are 2013 Snowflake Pendant.

Cut the card and layers using Spellbinders Grand Squares from white cardstock and DCWV Citrus Stack. The sentiment is from Justrite Clear Stamps "Just The Right Words"and then to finish off a few red dew drops.

Would love you to join us for this week's challenge and until the next time take care.
