OH BABY

Hello and it had to happen but the rain has returned but still a good excuse to get some crafting in and today a cute baby  card which could be  for girl or boy although I did have a baby girl in mind when doing this. Sometimes it is nice to get away from the usual pinks and instead use some bright summery colours for a change.

The bear stamp is from a lovely set by Kanban called Wooly Bears and this is Isobel and what I like is that you also get some clothing for her like the top on my card which are easy to cut out and add ontop of the stamped image.

Other items used are:
Spellbinders "Hexagons"
American Crafts Stamp Collection "Baby"
Promarkers

Iwould like to enter this card into the following challenges

Thats all for now but take care until the next time

THINKING OF YOU

Good afternoon had a morning in the garden enjoying the sun before updating my blog with a sweet little card.

The colour inspiration for this card was inspired by the colour challenge over at color throwdown.blogspot.co.uk/

The main part of the card was formed using Spellbinders "Butterflies Circles" and "Standard Circles Large"and the fallout of little butterflies were coloured with Promarkers before placing back in the circle. The flowers along the centre were made using Joy Crafts "Small Roses"cutting stencil and finished off with a gem in the centre. The sentiment was stamped using KaiserCraft Mini Stamps "Greeting."
Take care friends and if in the UK hope we continue with this wonderful weather.

SO VERY PROUD OF YOU

Hello again and a quick post before I head off to the garden again to enjoy this lovely weather we are having at the moment.

Today a tag using a favourite of mine which is bubblewrap on the background of this card and with just some ink you can create so many unique looks. I then added a ribbon rosette in the centre with the sentiment along the bottom of the tag.

Hobbycraft Ink Pad - light blue, fuchsia and yellow

Kaisercraft Mini Stamps - proud

Spellbinders - jewel flowers and flourishes

With lots of people graduating and others passing exams at this time of the year I thought this would be ideal to hang on a gift for someone to congratulate them as well as for many other occasions.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Thanks for calling by and will be back soon with a candy giveaway.

BECAUSE YOU HAVE LOVED ME

Hello and today a project using some new dies and stamps that I have recently purchased.

The stamp set is JustRite Clear - For All You Do Vintage Labels Three along with the matching die set. These are clear stamps which I tend not to use a lot but these stamp beautifully and you get a very clean and crisp stamped image. I stamped this using a gold ink pad then highlighted some of the stamp details with a Sakura Metallic browm pen to match the sentiment in the centre which was stamped with Versafine - Vintage Sepia. I then added some pearl drops in the corners and for the centre of the flowers with Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Golden.

The centre panel was then mounted on acetate and then onto a square aperture cream card.
I will be entering this card into the friday mashup challenge 110 which this week is using bakers twine or monochromatic.
Once again take care and hope you can join me again soon
